Bothnia Business Heritage
Throughout history, the Gulf of Bothnia has served as an important channel out in the world. Even today, the maritime and industrial cultural heritage and today’s business community are very rich. But the importance of the cultural heritage needs to be highlighted! The Bothnia Business Heritage project is a cross-border project that connects representatives of cultural heritage and business around the Gulf of Bothnia, with Finnish and Swedish partners – including Västernorrland Museum – and with Interreg Aurora as the main financier.
Cultural heritage is an important piece of the puzzle for innovation and collaboration, and also a cornerstone for credible brand building, site and product development and can create positive visibility for the entire area! The project wants to highlight the Gulf of Bothnia and its cultural heritage and strengthen the link between the past, present and future.
As part of the project, a network are launched for cultural heritage actors who want to strengthen their connection to today’s business community: Bothnia Business Heritage Network. Through the network you get new contacts and the chance to take part in rewarding discussions and inspiring working models that you can test in your own organisation.
We invite cultural heritage actors to join the network!
